Dear Santa & The Money Gods That Be, I know I don't need an Alexander Wang Mini Rocco Bag or a new pair of Rachel Comey Ankle Boots. All I want this year is a large Miffy Lamp, Sprocket Rocket Camera, and a Steelcase Uno Chair. Although I don't need these things, I truly believe they'll be great additions to my life. If I could only have one, please, please, please choose the Miffy lamp. I assure you that it'll put a smile on my face when I'm at my lowest of lows. Love, Thanh.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tustin is Naan and Kebab. My boyfriend and I always make sure to visit this place when we're heading to Irvine or LA. When we do go, we always order the same thing. The #17 Chicken Barg. Maybe it's the yellow rice, the perfectly cooked chicken, the roasted tomato, the fresh raw onion, or the lime that makes this meal so appetizing. Whatever it is, we both can't resist eating this simple dish.
I was checking out MadeMe's Fall 2010 Lookbook and couldn't help, but notice Nina Sky's new look. If you don't know who Nina Sky are, they are a music duo from Queens, New York. I remember back in 2004 when "Move Ya Body" released and they were rockin' bright neon colors, trucker hats, and arm bands. I'm not a fan of their music, but I am loving their current look! Their short hair looks so good that I think it makes them look more fashion forward.
I actually cut my hair short once in 10th grade and thought it was the worst mistake I ever made. My brother paid for that haircut to help me through my awkward years, but I ended up feeling more awkward. I thought I looked so terrible that I vowed to never have short hair again. Thanks to Nina Sky, they've helped to nudge away my fear of having short hair. Now I just need to muster up enough courage to follow through.

Kimbra is a beautiful and talented 20-year-old singer from New Zealand. I've been listening to her music for the past couple of months and she still hasn't come off on repeat. Not only is she an amazing singer, her music video for "Settle Down" is also amazing. You should know that I either like it fun and playful or strange and creepy when it comes to music videos. Isn't that weird for me to say when we all know I hate scary films? Well, in Kimbra's video, she encompasses everything I could ever possibly love.via Source

Uamou (pronounced like wah-moo) is the brainchild of artist, Ayako Takagi. Known for her figures, Ayako has designed her Uamou character into the famous Japanese street food, takoyaki. I fell in love when I saw these figures because takoyaki is one of my favorite all-time snacks. If you haven't had it before, do ask for it at any Japanese restaurant! I love the green details of the sprinkled seaweed on top. I'm craving takoyaki so badly now, I think I might get some tomorrow.

The Matiko Leila Flats have been going on and off my wishlist lately. I wasn't sure if I was going through a stud phase or if I needed them in my life. I was looking at Need Supply Co and spotted a model wearing them for their Black Houlihan J Brand jeans. Because of those pictures, it's definitely back on.

Last Thursday, I went to Sanrio's 50th Anniversary "Small Gift" Event. We went an hour earlier and already, there was a line forming for the 7:30pm opening. Inside, VIP guests were given free gift bags and goodies galore. Free wine, alcohol, Pink's Hot Dogs, Beard Papa cream puffs, Oi Ocha Green Tea, ferris wheel rides, mini golf, and Sanrio photobooth! A few notable celebrities present were Lisa Ling, Pete Wentz, Ashley Simpson, Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Eric Estrada. Besides being surrounded by cuteness, my absolute favorite part of Small Gift was the group art show. My favorite artwork came from Joe Ledbetter, Kozyndan, Audrey Kawasaki, Nouar, and Paul Frank. I was particularly excited for Audrey and Kozydan's pieces since I've been a fan for years.
Somehow, I took over 700 photos. I narrowed it down to 308 so if you'd like to see more, please visit here. If only I had known about the cream puffs earlier, I would've taken less pictures and eaten more puffs.
