This is where I'd like to be right now. A place where I could feel secluded and out of touch with real life. A place where I could no longer hear police sirens, garbage trucks, stray cats fighting, and neighbors coming in and out of their doors.
I still can't get over how good this looks. Gold and black are one of my favorite combinations so I was completely enamored when I came across this photo. via nobodyknowsmarc.
If I ever find myself near a J.Crew, I always come in to check out the Edie bag. I've been lusting over this purse for the past few months because it's the perfect size, boxy shape, and color. It's a simple, classic bag that can maintain its appeal for years. I won't get one since my shoe fund is forever needed, but I'd really love to have one in each color. The leather is so, sooo soft. via JCrew.
Our traditional and very round light bulb is re-imagined by Korean designer, Joonhuyn Kim. This is kind of old news since it was unveiled in 2008, but it's still worth sharing. What makes this flat bulb so great is that it's easier to package and transport while maintaining the same properties as a normal bulb. I actually don't know why this bright idea hasn't been done before. Pun definitely intended. via Source.
18 Kowloon East is a mixed-use 28-story building in Kowloon, China, which features a 'greening effect' at the base. This design works to balance out the industrialized blocks and to provide a more earthy environment to the neighborhood. If you ever find me working at this building, I'll probably take breaks outside, where I can "pet" the plants since I like to treat every photosynthesizing organism as if it's a Chia Pet. via Source.
How adorable is this navy blue dress by Wolcott : Takemoto? This new brand established itself during early summer of 2011 and this dress is one of many pieces from their first Spring 2012 Collection. I'll have to keep myself updated with WT because I'm excited to see more from this charming brand. via Source.
